UPSC Civil Services Services Mains Admit Card 2026

The Union Public Service Commission has released the admit card for the Civil Services Mains examination 2026, part of the recruitment cycle covering 1013 posts including the Indian Administrative Service and Indian Forest Service, along with several other Group A and Group B central services.

Applications for the Civil Services and Forest Service preliminary exam opened on 4 February 2026 and closed on 27 February 2026 by 6 PM, with a correction window running from 28 February to 3 March 2026. The preliminary exam was held on 24 May 2026, after its admit card was issued on 15 May 2026. The preliminary result followed on 15 June 2026, and the overall result was announced on 17 June 2026. The Mains application form for Civil Services was available from 19 to 29 June, and for Forest Services from 13 to 22 July 2026. The Mains admit card has now been released on 14 August 2026. The exam fee was 100 rupees for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, PH and all female candidates were exempted, payable only through debit card, credit card, net banking or e-challan. The age limit is 21 to 32 years.

Of the total vacancies, 933 posts are for the Indian Administrative Service and 80 for the Indian Forest Service, with the remainder spread across various other central civil services. Candidates can download the Mains admit card from the Commission's website.
