The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the eligibility result for the Draftsman (Nakshanveesh) and Cartographer (Manchitrak) recruitment 2023, which covers 283 posts.
Applications opened on 18 December 2023 and closed on 8 January 2024, with the fee due by the same date and a correction window open until 15 January 2024. The eligibility result was declared on 17 May 2025, and the exam will follow as per a schedule to be announced, with the admit card coming before the exam. The fee was 25 rupees across all categories, General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST and PH. The minimum age is 21 years for the Nakshanveesh post and 18 years for the Manchitrak post, with a maximum of 40 years for both. Eligibility calls for a UPSSSC PET 2022 score card along with a diploma in Civil Engineering, or a cartography certificate from institutions such as Roorkee University, BHU or AMU, or an ITI certificate in Nakshanveesh.
Of the 283 posts, 250 are for Nakshanveesh Cartographer, broken down as 86 General, 17 EWS, 29 OBC, 112 SC and 4 ST, and 33 are for Manchitrak, with 16 General, 3 EWS, 6 OBC, 6 SC and 2 ST. Candidates found eligible should watch for the exam date announcement on the UPSSSC website.
