The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the revised answer key for the Lekhpal mains exam conducted under advertisement number 02-Exam/2025, a recruitment drive covering 7994 posts, including 7794 vacancies for the Lekhpal post itself. Candidates need a UPSSSC PET 2025 score card along with a 10+2 pass to be eligible.
The category-wise breakdown of the 7994 total posts shows 3205 for General, 792 for EWS, 2158 for OBC, 1679 for SC and 160 for ST. Registrations for this recruitment had opened on 29 December 2025 and closed on 28 January 2026, with correction allowed till 4 February 2026. The eligibility result came out on 26 February 2026, the mains exam fee payment window closed on 4 May 2026, the mains exam was held on 21 May 2026, the admit card was released on 16 May 2026, the initial answer key came on 22 May 2026, and the revised answer key followed on 1 July 2026. The exam fee across all categories, including PH, was a uniform 25 rupees, payable through SBI I Collect or e-challan. The age limit for applicants was 18 to 40 years.
