The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has released the syllabus for the Moharir Recruitment 2022, a drive covering 92 posts for Moharir in the state's Geology and Mining Department. The syllabus notice comes years after the original application process, with the exam itself still awaited.
Applications for this recruitment had opened on 29 October 2022 and closed on 18 November 2022, with the fee payment deadline also on 18 November 2022 and a correction window open until 25 November 2022. A postponement notice was issued on 23 December 2022, and the syllabus has now been made available on 20 July 2026, with the exam date still to be notified and the admit card to follow before the exam. The application fee was 25 rupees across General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST and PH candidates. The age limit is 18 to 40 years, and eligibility is based on the UPSSSC PET 2021 score card along with a 10+2 Intermediate pass from a recognized board. Category wise, the 92 posts are split as 41 General, 21 OBC, 19 SC, 9 EWS and 2 ST.
