The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has declared the result for its Stenographer Recruitment 2024, which covers 661 posts across the state.
Applications for this recruitment ran from 26 December 2024 to 25 January 2025, with the fee payment closing on the same date and a correction window open till 1 February 2025. The written exam was held on 20 January 2026, its answer key came out on 22 January 2026, and a revised answer key followed on 1 April 2026. The result was declared on 22 July 2026. The fee for every category, general, OBC, EWS, SC, ST and PH, was a flat Rs 25, payable through SBI I-Collect or e-challan. Eligibility required a UPSSSC PET 2023 score card, a 10+2 intermediate pass, Hindi stenography at 80 words per minute with Hindi typing at 25 words per minute, and a passed NIELIT CCC exam.
Of the 661 posts, 321 are reserved for General category candidates, 155 for SC, 125 for OBC, 46 for EWS and 14 for ST. With the result now out, the next stage is the skill test, scheduled for 1 September 2026, for which candidates should keep their PET score card and other documents ready.
