Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has invited applications for 1216 apprentice posts covering Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice and ITI Apprentice categories. The drive covers ITI pass candidates across various trades, freshers for the trade security guard role, engineering graduates and diploma holders in mining related streams.
Applications opened on 7 November 2022 and the online form closes on 22 November 2022 up to 5 PM, with the completed form also due the same day. There is no application fee for General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST or PH candidates. The minimum age is 18 years, with a maximum of 25 years for ITI Apprentice posts, while no upper age limit is mentioned for Graduate and Technician Apprentice posts. Within the 1216 vacancies, 840 are for ITI trade apprentices, 215 for Technician Apprentice, 101 for Graduate Apprentice and 60 for the fresher trade security guard post, each with its own eligibility requirement.
The exam date will be announced as per schedule and the admit card will be issued before the exam. Candidates should check the notification for the trade wise breakup of the 840 ITI posts before applying, since eligibility differs by post.
