CUET UG Score & Percentile Calculator
Raw score from the answer key, and percentile from your rank
Most CUET subject papers have 50.
Include any questions dropped by NTA.
Leave unattempted questions out.
Enter your correct and incorrect answers to compute your raw score.
CUET normalises across shifts, so your percentile (not your raw score) is what university admission lists use. Two candidates with the same raw score in different shifts can end up with different percentiles.
About this tool
CUET UG marks each correct answer +5 and each incorrect answer −1, with unattempted questions scoring zero. The score mode below turns your answer-key tally into a raw score for a subject paper.
NTA then normalises across shifts by converting raw scores into percentiles within each session. The percentile mode applies NTA's own definition (the proportion of candidates in your session who scored at or below you), so if you know your position and the session size you can compute the percentile exactly rather than guessing.
Frequently asked questions
›What is the CUET marking scheme?
+5 for a correct answer, −1 for an incorrect one, and 0 for a question left unattempted. Dropped questions are awarded to every candidate.
›Why is my percentile different from my percentage?
Percentage is your score out of the maximum. Percentile is your position relative to other candidates in the same shift. A 60% score can be a 95 percentile in a difficult shift.
›Is the percentile normalised across shifts?
Yes. That is the point of the percentile system: candidates in a harder shift are not penalised, because each shift is scored against its own distribution.
